Background and Use

The European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products (EMEA) indicates the traditional use of Peppermint leaf tea and/or tincture as an: "Herbal medicinal product for the symptomatic relief of minor digestive disorders." This useful herb is used in many different forms today, and is becoming increasingly popular in herbal teas. The essential oil has been the focus of several published studies.

Today, it is included in approximately 26 national pharmacopeias, including those of Austria, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Russia.

Fresh organic Peppermint leaf (Mentha piperita), fresh organic Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis), organic Ginger rhizome and root (Zingiber officinale), fresh organic German Chamomile flowers (Matricaria recutita) 700 mg

Other Ingredients: Kosher vegetable glycerin, grapefruit seed extract. Herbs extracted in alcohol, alcohol removed.

Suggested Use

Take 1 mL twice daily as needed. Formulated for children 2-12 years. Not for use in infants.

Contraindications

Keep out of reach of children. For adults, use with caution if pregnant or nursing. Discontinue if unusual symptoms occur.

Allergens
